….my goal is to help my students accept that alignment looks different on every body. It is never necessary to strive for the outward mastery of a pose but instead to focus on how the posture makes us feel. The most skillful yoga moments happen when we allow ourselves to be present, not perfect.

Meet your yoga teacher, Carla Dempsey!

I completed my 200Hr YTT in December of 2023, becoming a skillfully certified, trauma informed yoga teacher.

I discovered yoga in 2009 and was immediately drawn to its physical and spiritual healing aspects. As a fitness professional who follows a very rigorous strength training program, yoga provides me with invaluable attributes that promote not only additional strength and flexibility, but also the important aspects of yoga that are rest and recovery, self-reflection, and self-love.

I have practiced yoga all over the world, throughout many military moves, and I am so excited to provide to you a one of a kind yoga experience to call your own.

My classes are focused on functional movement, breath awareness, and the perfect balance between yin and yang -or- strength and relaxation. You will be empowered to be playful and curious in your practice while sometimes challenging yourself to meet your edge, whatever that looks like for you. You can expect moments of free flow vinyasa, creative transitions, and breathwork to deepen your connection to the present moment. I love to finish my classes by guiding you through a nervous system reset during shavasana that soothes the soul with sound healing modalities and meditations.

My mission is to support our community by teaching the importance of physical, energetic, and emotional health.

Please come as you are to my class! Sweatpants, pajamas, $100 yoga pants, $20 yoga pants….this is a judgment free zone.

Class Pricing

A single drop in class is $15
Private 75 minute yoga session with guided meditation, sound healing, and yoga silk swing shavasana – $80

Class Descriptions

Yin & Yang – The perfect combination of work and relaxation. This class begins with foundational vinyasa (flow), a series of movements perfectly sequenced and connected with the breath, that will strengthen and lengthen your muscles. Then you will ease into hatha, more gentle static poses designed to stretch and release tension. 75 minutes

Vinyasa Sculpt – A blend of foundational yoga flows with HIIT (high intensity interval training with modifications for beginners) drills and body sculpting with free-weights. 75 minutes

*Please keep in mind vinyasa sculpt is more of a fitness class than a traditional yoga class.

All classes include a warmup, sound healing, and a shavasana (corpse pose) so relaxing and restorative that you won’t want to leave! 

What to Bring?

If you have a favorite yoga mat you’re welcome to bring it, but everything you need will be available here.
